The basic door-set comprises of one or two leaves and a frame, supplied in single or bi-parting door leaves. The doors are commonly mounted on the inside of the building and slide in front of a side wall or a side-screen.our door can be supplied to replace old or damaged manual doors, or as a complete automatic entrance system with the option of fixed side screens and transom panels.
The door leaves and frame are constructed from an aluminium profile and glazing with clear laminated safety glass. The door-sets can be produced in a wide range of colours by polyester powder coating the frame to any RAL colour. Alternatively the door can be provided with a silver or bronze anodised finish or stainless steel even frameless 12mm toughened glass.
The automatic sliding bi-parting door operator which powers the door is contained within an overhead header unit. This unit contains the track, carriage, DC brushless motor, and microprocessor controller, battery back-up unit and safety interface complete with multi-position control switch to set the modes of operation.
The most common in the range of door activation options is by overhead infrared sensors on both sides of the opening. Also the door can be activated by various options these include radar motion sensors, remote control or push button, mat switch plus many other options and variations.
Standard safety features of our automatic sliding doors start at the motor which incorporates a pressure sensing system; this will stop the door if it comes into contact with an object during the opening or closing cycle. Then there are electronic safety beam sensors or threshold safety sensors, which will hold open the door if the beam is broken, automatic reverse on obstruction and battery back-up to provide for an emergency operation in the event of power failure.
Security is provided by a deadlock on door leaf and an electronic lock, to protect against weather conditions, the door is fitted with brush seals and an aluminium threshold.
